In this blog post, we will explain how to print the content of an MS-Excel worksheet at a level that is easy to understand for grade 6 students.
Step 1: Open the worksheet
To print the contents of an MS-Excel worksheet, you need to first open the file that contains the worksheet you want to print. You can do this by double-clicking on the Excel file icon on your desktop or by opening Excel and selecting the file from the list of recent files.
Step 2: Set the print area
Once you have opened the worksheet, you need to select the cells that you want to print. This is known as setting the print area. To do this, click and drag your mouse over the cells you want to print. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A to select all the cells in the worksheet.
Step 3: Open the Print dialog box
With the cells you want to print selected, you can now open the Print dialog box by pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P or by clicking on the File menu and selecting Print.
Step 4: Preview the worksheet
Before you print the worksheet, it’s a good idea to preview it to make sure everything looks correct. You can do this by clicking on the Preview button in the Print dialog box. This will show you a preview of what the worksheet will look like when it’s printed.
Step 5: Set the printer options
Once you have previewed the worksheet, you can set the printer options. This includes selecting the printer you want to use, the number of copies you want to print, and the page orientation (portrait or landscape).
Step 6: Print the worksheet
Finally, you can print the worksheet by clicking on the Print button in the Print dialog box. This will send the worksheet to the printer you have selected, and you should soon have a printed copy of your Excel worksheet.
